Viewed simply, life is a continuous series of transitions.
Some transitions are thrust upon us. They are beyond our control: we are born, we may have to battle illness, we may have been hurt in an accident or lost a job.
Some transitions are initiated by us: We may choose a profession, start a business, get married, buy a house, make an investment, choose a lifestyle.
Some transitions are easy, others more difficult. Either way, the choices we make can be transformative: consider the ripple effects in a life of a great marriage, a successful business venture, or the nurturing of positive relationships with family and friends. Alternatively, consider the ripple effects in a life of a failed marriage or a disastrous career choice.
Whether involuntary or by choice, transitions are stressful. They subject us to stormy emotions that are at times difficult to unravel.
My role is to listen, help you identify options, and help you set realistic goals. I provide guidelines to navigate through your transitions, calming your fears, and turning you towards positive action.
